This series of photographs, aptly titled a masterclass in product photography, seamlessly merges the art of furniture photography with architectural storytelling. Set against the raw, textured backdrop of a brutalist structure, the images highlight the sculptural forms of the furniture, creating a striking contrast. Drawing inspiration from the Iranian mythology of “dokhtare shahe parion,” the photos evoke a profound sense of mystique and timelessness. This approach transforms furniture photography into an artistic narrative, elevating the products to works of art. In 2023, several photographs from this series received the prestigious Product Photography Award at the AMP, celebrated for their visually captivating scenes and innovative style.
