Nimkat Architectural Photography, established in 2013 in Tehran by Farzad and Ghazaleh, is celebrated for its distinctive approach to visual storytelling. Both founders hold Master’s degrees in Applied Arts and have received numerous prestigious national and international awards for their collaborations with architectural firms and designers.
In 2024, Nimkat Studio relocated to Toronto, embarking on a new chapter in its journey. The studio aims to bring its creative vision and acclaimed imagery to Canadian architects, designers, and manufacturers, contributing to the advancement of visual culture and economic growth.
The word “Nimkat” translates to “bench,” commonly referring to a seating place in parks for relaxation, sitting, or socializing in Persian.
